This download brings UNIFON resources to any person who can point and click on a computer.  For the first time children as young as age three con learn to write any word they can speak.

The program features a digital narrator who speaks the words you create.  Learn immediately how each of the letters sound, or write words in UNIFON and hear them spoken.

Children will have fun learning “the code” and making the “robot voice” speak the words and stories they write.

NOTE: Prepare for this download to take a long time, perhaps several hours.  An overnight download might be the best choice, especially if you have a dial-up connection.

Briefly, here is what you will find included in the package.

  1. The Narrator.  There are three windows.  On all three you will be writing and reading in UNIFON.

    1. Click on letters and hear how they sound.  Includes sample words that use the same sound.

    2. Click on the letters to make words and short sentences.  Hear them spoken when you finish.

    3. Click on the letters or type them on the keyboard.  Write up to 60,000 words and the narrator will read them to you.
       

  2. Details about how to use the resources for teaching children.
     

  3. Font files that allow you to type in UNIFON in your word processor.
     

  4. A page showing the layout of the Unifon typewriter keyboard that you can paste in front of you to learn.
     

  5. An alphabet page with large letters suitable for tracing, so your child can learn to write the 40 UNIFON sound signs.
